Early Polish Army officer’s dagger. Model 1924, used up to 1937 and then manufactured with the silvered fittings. It features a composite orange grip with brassed metal pommel and cross guard. The blade is in very good condition and shows floral etching with the motto "Honor i Ojcyzna" (Honor and Fatherland) on one side. The ricasso on the reverse no shows the maker's mark. The scabbard is wrapped in black leather and carries three silvered metal rings with laurel decoration.
