Remarkable 1935 Luffwaffe sword.
This early Luftwaffe Sword [Air Force] is in Excellent ++ condition. Model 1935. The total length is 93.5 cm. The Sword has maker mark on the blade Alcoso Solingen.
Very clean nickel-plated steel blade showing stamp “Alcoso Solingen” and being in stone Mint condition, with highest quality nickel-plated surfaces. The original blue leather blade washer is in place, in good condition.
Blue leather finished handle and scabbard. Intact wire wrapping. Nickel-silver types fittings with slight toning. The pommel and crossguard show a sunwheel swastika on both sides in bright gold finish.
All screws of the scabbard are in place. Scabbard does not have the upper crescent hanger but it has two pieces of original Luftwaffe dagger hanger straps, one on each ring. It is how it came, so have left them on.
